Under the Schools Excellence Fund - Digital schools are being encouraged to become part of a digital cluster as part of the government's strategy to embed digital technology into teaching and learning. The deadline for applications is Feb 2nd. Successful schools can expect funding for all resources for a cluster project required over a three year period, including subscription costs, teacher training and paid substitution cover.
Clusters can be made up of between 4 and 6 schools, or schools can apply individually indicating a clear area of interest and clusters of schools sharing the same interest will be formed by the Department at a later stage. We are encouraging schools to apply under the project title 'Oral Irish Flipped Classroom Approach using Cloud Software IrishHomework.ie
As you will see from our pre-filled template, included below, we plan on formalising our existing assessment base and enhancing and standardising our teacher resources through a collaborative effort and with funding support for all involved.
If you have any questions about the application process or would like to find out more about our three year plan for this project please email us at info@irishomework.ie. See attached single school application form filled out as a template for your guidance.
