With a BEng(Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Plymouth, Robin has a strong foundation in technology. His PDip in Chinese for Teaching from NUI Maynooth has broadened his skillset into the most recent advances in modern language pedagogy. Years of living and working abroad as both an Engineer and Teacher of English and French has given Robin a thorough understanding of what it takes to get up and running in a new language quickly. He also understands how much extra it takes to achieve fluency both as a student and a teacher. With IrishHomework.ie Robin is bringing his experience to bear to facilitate his own children's path through Irish.
A highly experienced Irish language mentor and grinds tutor. Cayleigh has sought to proliferate Irish as a living language. Like all the key members in our team, Cayleigh has spent quality Irish time in several of the Irish speaking regions of Ireland, and brings this knowledge to the creation of the lessons and in her work as presenter/actor for the dialogues.
Justin recently completed a project for the Royal Irish Academy, working as a research assistant in translation and localisation for the RIA's next Irish language dictionary. Justin's passion is bridging the divide between the various groups working for the advancement of Irish. He is our Irish expert in all matters regional, national, formal and colloquial.
Craig is a Business and Accounting undergraduate at the University of Limerick. Serving as the link to our client schools Craig has critical input in our product development ensuring that we deliver what the schools need. His range of experience across high tech startups and frontline customer focused businesses allow him to help keep the team focused on building a better learning experience for an ever increasing number of schools and students.
Bernice has 10 years experience of Primary school teaching and gives us direction on what works and what doesn't, in a typical primary class (and for homework).
With a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the Univesity of Limerick, and 10 years of experience with web technologies and software development, Shane combines the pedagocial needs of home self study with a "don't make me think" approach to our lesson interface.
Home schooled, Cormac found his talent for programming at 10 years of age. Currently completing his undergradute studies at The Open University he has been our technical lead for the design and implementation of our new Task Based Learning tool. Not only does he bring technical excellence to the team but his flair for design has been instrumental in leading us to an efficient and user friendly solution.
Elle is an acclaimed Illustrator and Designer with years of Visual Communications experience. She is currently working toward a BA degree in Animation and Visual Effects at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
Ross is currently studying for his Senior Certificate at Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh. Proficient in spoken Irish, Ross provides much of the humour in our lessons. And gives us a useful perspective of the younger learner. In other words he tells us whats cool and whats not cool.
